What is tone+burn bootcamp?

tone+burn bootcamp is an instructor-led, strength and cardio, interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that's as effective as it is fun. That was a mouth full.
Our fitness classes begin with a dedicated strength portion during which athletes are guided through weighted exercises to tone their arms, shoulders and abs. The second part of the class consists of a metabolic conditioning workout that will make you sweat and burn calories.
All classes take place in a open-floor gym environment in groups of up to 15 athletes. The motivating music, and inspiring instructors will encourage you to push yourself harder than ever before.

When are the classes held?

The 60 minute tone+burn bootcamp classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30am and 5:30pm, as well as Saturdays at 9am.

Where are is tone+burn bootcamp located?

tone+burn bootcamp is located at 333 Meadowlands Pkwy, Secaucus NJ 07094. Classes are held at the CrossFit Secaucus facility.

Will I be okay if I'm a beginner or not already in shape?

Don’t worry! We welcome beginners and have a lot of them. To make the most of your first class, we recommend arriving 15 minutes early so we can explain the workout and introduce you to your instructor. tone+burn bootcamp classes are created for individuals to challenge themselves with weights and cardio exercises — you can choose the heaviness of your weights and set your own pace, depending on your experience.

Will weight training really help me lose weight and get fit?

Yes. All day long.
At tone+burn bootcamp we combine weights with cardio to keep the heart-rate elevated with intense bursts throughout the workout. When it comes to weights, we believe in continuous high-repetition lifting with medium to heavy weights, depending on the exercise.
This means you’ll burn more calories and increase your lean body mass, which in turn will raise your resting metabolism by up to 15 percent; so, you’re burning calories even after you leave. Translation: you’ll lose fat and keep it off. It’s what we call the "after burn."
When you build a foundation of firm muscle, the metabolic boost melts away the fat on top and since muscle takes up less space than fat, you’re left with a leaner, slimmer, firmer, and sexier physique.

We combine weight training with cardio and alternate bursts of intense anaerobic exercise with recovery periods to keep the heart-rate elevated throughout the workout. You’ll burn more calories and increase your lean body mass, which in turn will raise your resting metabolic rate by up to 15 percent.
